MCELROY ARCHITECTURE

Calistoga Ranch

Sitting among vineyards, this 1980s ranch was focused inward and needed a refresh. It was taken down to the studs, floor plan revised, walls opened and ceilings vaulted into an attic space. The exterior was simplified with new siding and windows, and reduced roof overhangs maintain views and light. A new detached guest house was designed and sited to maintain views and create an outdoor living room.
