Collingwood Remodel

A laundry room previously cut this kitchen off from the rest of the house. By relocating the laundry into lower cabinets, the kitchen is now open to the adjacent dining room. A long narrow island acts as work space with room for seating as well. Herringbone patter tile covers the entire backsplash wall calling attention to the tall ceiling, as do steel doors at the exterior wall. A crisp shade of blue on flat panel cabinets and black accents makes a playful backdrop for cooking.
